Who are Shelgo Tea?

You can’t beat a good cuppa and we have devoted ourselves to sourcing and supplying the very best tea, honey and accessories needed to make this. It’s been a long road, but we’re finally at the finishing line as today is the day we celebrate the launch of Shelgo Tea.

Who are Shelgo Tea?

We are a small, premium tea brand that focuses on high-quality Greek herbs, including Greek mountain tea. Everything we stock at launch has been imported from small farms in Greece and most of it is organic, with the rest typically harvested from the wild.

We want to bring great Greek tea to the British public, focusing on antioxidant rich herbs currently being researched for their amazing health benefits, such as the cancer-fighting properties of dandelion tea or the neuroprotective characteristics of sideritis tea.

On all of our product pages you can find an extensive guide covering health benefits, scientific studies, taste profiles and recipes—so be sure to check these out before you buy.

A Gradual Launch

We have spent the last couple years sampling teas, talking with suppliers and testing packaging, and the last few months preparing for the launch. Everything you see on the site is ready to be packed and shipped, but there are many more products waiting to be launched in the coming months.

These include a delicious organic Greek honey range, which should land by the end of the year and may be available sooner than that.

In the meantime, we have full stock of many tea accessories and herbal teas, including our Shelgo Tea Infuser, Nettle Tea and Camomile Tea.
