June 2021 Update
Everything is getting back to normal now and things are moving smoothly again! There may be some delays from time to time as the pandemic continues, and we’re still limiting shipments to two batches a week, but all customers should get their orders within 3 to 5 working days, as promised on our Delivery Details page.
As things stand, only customers from the United Kingdom and Ireland are able to order from Shelgo Tea. We’re looking at ways of reducing international shipping costs/complications so that we can start shipping internationally again, but it’s proving difficult, so please bear with us!
February 8th Update
The weather is slowing deliveries down across most of the country and we’re now being warned that snow/ice could lead to delays of several days. Please bear with us if you order during this time.
February 2021 Update
The delays at the border are causing some problems with incoming shipments, and so you may see a few “Out of Stock” notices on our site. Usually, these notices remain in place for just a week or two until we’re able to restock, but we’re expecting a much longer wait this time around.
For the same reason, we have placed a hold on all EU orders and will only be shipping to the UK and Ireland for the foreseeable future.
Most customer orders are being sent and received as normal, but we’re being warned that weather problems and staff shortages may cause delays in some areas, so please bear with us.
January 2020 Update
We’re still operating as before and while our resources are limited, most orders are being shipped within a few days. There may be some delays, however, as suppliers are taking longer to ship packaging supplies and couriers are taking longer to deliver orders (in some areas).
European orders may also be delayed, following the UK’s exit from the EU, and products will be out of stock for longer than usual, as everything we sell is imported from Greece. As a result, we’re asking all wholesale customers to get their orders in as soon as possible and most of our products now have an order limit.
Christmas Delivery Updates

We will remain open until the 23rd of December and will reopen on the 29th. You can still place orders during this time, but they will not be processed until the 27th and may not be collected/shipped until the 28th. Our customer support staff will not be contactable during this time.
Until then, we’re still processing orders as quickly as we can and while we are seeing some unexpected courier delays, many orders are arriving within 2 to. 4 working days.
Update November 2nd
Despite the impending lockdown, Shelgo Tea is still operational. Orders are processed 6 days a week and are shipped in no more than 3 weekly batches to minimise risk. However, we have noticed a slight delay in shipping times as delivery companies struggle to meet the increased demand while dealing with limited resources.
We’re processing and shipping as fast as we can, but can’t guarantee there will be no delays once they leave our premises.

Update September 14th
We are still working at a reduced capacity and while most orders are being shipped quickly, some customers may experience a slight delay. In the event of such delays, all customers will be contacted and notified. We thank you for your patience during these difficult times.
Update: April 20th
Due to a recent change in our shipping provider, we have been forced to increase International Shipping costs and exclude Greece, Italy, France, Cyprus, and Croatia. UK shipping remains the same and Free Shipping is still available on all orders above £40.
Update: April 1st
Despite the recent increase in demand and the limitations place upon us by COVID-19, we still expect all UK orders to be delivered within 3 to 5 working days, as outlined on our Delivery Details page.
However, we may experience a few delays from time to time and ask for your patience during such periods. Our small team has gotten a lot smaller in the last few weeks and the lockdown may make it difficult for us to deliver the sort of consistency we pride ourselves on.
We have recently switched from the Royal Mail to Hermes to accommodate this demand and have placed maximum order limits on some of our more popular items, including Cistus and Sideritis. New wholesale orders have also been placed on hold (we are still working with existing customers) but we invite you to contact us for more information if a large order is required.
We apologise in advance if your order is delayed but can assure you that we are working hard to get your products to you as quickly as we can.
